Nike PSC Communicator 2-way radio

Objectives: This was Nike’s first venture into hand held consumer electronics. Nike was looking for how far the brand could be pushed while maintaining visual consistency within their product offering.

Process: By analyzing the needs of outdoor sports activists, a solution for good communication coupled with easy handling and strong user interface was achieved.

Results: An iconic performance product dealing with ergonomics and safety issues while engaging in an active outdoor sports. What's more, it contributed to Nike's electronics division increasing sales in the Americas by almost 120% from 2000 to 2001.*
